Introduction

We want you to have everything you need to succeed at OESTECH Hackfest 2025. Below you’ll find a curated list of tools, platforms, and guidance to help you design, prototype, and pitch your ideas. These resources are here to accelerate your learning, spark creativity, and make your hackathon experience more impactful.

Tools & Technologies

During the hackathon, you are encouraged to experiment with different tools to bring your vision to life. Here are some of the platforms introduced in our training sessions:

  • Lovable – AI platform for generating full-stack app prototypes with zero coding.

  • Google Firebase Studio – AI-powered environment to quickly build and deploy functional app prototypes.

  • Cursor Agent – AI-assisted coding environment for accelerating software development.

  • GitHub Copilot – AI pair programmer to help write and debug code faster.

  • Claude Code – Conversational AI coding assistant for the terminal.

  • Canva – Easy-to-use design platform for mockups, branding, and visuals.

  • Figma – Collaborative design tool for creating user interfaces and clickable prototypes.

Inspiration

Need a spark to get started? Think about:

  • Opportunities to improve life in Puerto Rico with technology and entrepreneurship.

  • Global problems that could be tackled with local solutions.
